Hi Everyone! First of all - I would like to apologize that I'm writing here in english. I'm from Poland and don't know any Turkish. I've just read all the posts thanks to google translate. Looks like this thread is alive and some of you are struggling to get to working the ar5b22 card. I'm currently on 10.15 Catalina on my Acer V3-772G laptop. As you probably figure it out - it has this unlucky AR5B222 card which is somewhat equal to AR9462. For a quick moment of time (few hours) I had it working. Don't know how. But then after installation of Dropbox app the connection was unavailable. I don't know if the kext were buggy or that I messed something up. The result is now that I don't have the wifi on my machine.
Did someone managed to work this out and found a solution? I have so many different versions of IO80211Family.kext, AirPortAtheros40.kext and I try to apply them everywhere. EFI / Clover / kexts, S / L / E or just L / E. Sometimes the wifi icon is available so you can click on it but it does not see any networks. Sometimes it's crossed out with an X mark.
There are also many other files I came across for example: ATH9KInjector.kext, ATH9KFixup.kext, AirportBrcmFixup.kext and they add a whole new level of confusion. Which to use? Where to apply them etc.
I would be very thankful if someone could share his or hers findings and maybe explain what's it all about?
